I've been making personalised gifts for friends and family for over 20 years. I love to make people feel special by creating totally unique gifts that reflect their personality.
Originally from London, I came to the Isle of Wight after a year travelling Australia.
Since moving to the island I've studied HNC and HND Graphic Communication whilst working at a High school.
I have begun to use photographic images of my 3D artwork to illustrate and I would like to continue building a portfolio of commercial and self-promotional work.
Who inspires me?
I'm inspired by graphic designers Rian Hughes and Dick Bruna, and more recently the illustrative work of Rob Ryan and the hand lettering style of Nate Williams.
I also love the paintings of the great artists Amedeo Modigliani, Henri Rousseau and Andrew Wyeth.
French Art Nouveau jewellry and glassware designer, René Lalique also inspires me. To the left is a piece of his work that I re-created in polymer clay.
I also love Miffy, Hello Kitty and Aranzi Aronzo’s crazy characters! I hope you like my work, lots of love Zoë x
